Performance metrics for a Nutanix Prism Central monitor
Nutanix Prism Central provides a unified view of your Nutanix infrastructure.Once Nutanix Prism Central is added for monitoring in Site24x7, it performs auto-discovery of cluster entities, like Nutanix Clusters, Hosts, Virtual Machines, and Nutanix-related resources.
To view the performance metrics, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Site24x7 account.
- Navigate to VMware > Nutanix Resources > Nutanix Prism Central.
- Select a Nutanix Prism Central monitor to view its metrics.
Host Summary
The Host Summary tab provides a centralized overview of all discovered Nutanix resources, including their current availability status and real-time CPU and memory utilization metrics.

Nutanix Cluster
Th Nutanix Cluster section displays a list of discovered Nutanix Clusters, with the header indicating the number of available clusters and the resource monitoring status of the detected clusters.
All Nutanix Clusters connected to the Nutanix Prism Central will be listed here. Click any individual Nutanix Cluster to access detailed insights into performance metrics.

Nutanix Host
The Nutanix Host section shows the list of discovered Nutanix Host, the header shows the number of available host resource monitor of number of hosts discovered. All the Nutanix Host monitors available under the Nutanix Prism Central will be displayed. Click each individual Nutanix Host monitor to receive the detailed performance metrics insights.
Nutanix Virtual Machine
The Nutanix Virtual Machine section displays the list of all discovered Nutanix Virtual Machines, providing workload-level visibility. The header shows the number of available VMs resource monitors out of the number of VMs discovered.
Every Nutanix Virtual Machine associated with the Nutanix Prism Central is included. Select a specific Nutanix Virtual Machine to view the in-depth performance metrics and insights.
Nutanix Storage Container
The Nutanix Storage Container section lists all the Nutanix Storage Containers that have been discovered, it represent logical storage pools used by Nutanix Virtual Machines. The header displays the number of available storage containers out of the number of discovered storage containers.
You will see every Nutanix Storage Container available under the Nutanix Prism Central. To access detailed performance metrics insights, click the required Nutanix Storage Container.
