Threshold and Availability for MySQL NDB Cluster monitor

Set up alerts when your MySQL NDB Clusters reach specified threshold limits so that you can take informed actions.

Add a Threshold and Availability Profile

  1. Log in to Site24x7.
  2. Go to Admin > Configuration Profiles > Threshold and Availability > Add Threshold Profile. You can also navigate via Server > Server Monitor > MySQL NDB and click the MySQL NDB Cluster monitor to which you want to add a threshold profile. Hover on the hamburger icon beside the display name and click Edit > Configuration Profiles, then click the pencil icon beside Threshold and Availability.
  3. Specify the following details:
    • Monitor Type: Select the MySQL NDB cluster monitor from the drop-down list.
    • Display Name: Provide a label for identification purposes.
    • Threshold Type: Choose between Static and AI-based thresholds. Refer to the list of supported metrics for the metrics that can have thresholds.
    • Static Thresholds: Choose the desired metrics from the drop-down menu, enter the threshold values specific to the unit, and set the threshold conditions (<, <=, =, >, or >=) and the monitor state (to be notified as) for each metric. Alerts will be generated when these threshold conditions are violated.
    • AI-based Zia Thresholds: If you choose AI-based thresholds, the system will track abnormal spikes using anomaly detection and offer dynamic thresholds that will be updated accordingly. Choose the associated anomaly severity and status as required.
  4. Click Save. The threshold and availability profile created for the MySQL NDB Cluster monitor will be automatically listed in the Threshold and Availability screen along with the others already created.
