In general, it's recommended that you upgrade your APM Insight agents to their latest versions for the best performance. However, upgrading your agents manually or keeping track of new agent releases may be time-consuming. That's why we recommend you to automatically upgrade these agents. By checking the box beside  Agent Auto-upgrade, your agents will get updated to the latest version automatically. See Figure 1 below.

Once Agent Auto-upgrade is selected, your agents will be automatically upgraded whenever a new version is available. 

Note: By default, Auto-upgrade is disabled.
