[User access permission changes] - Custom Report and Global Benchmark Report

Hello,

As you may be already aware, our Custom Report lets you quickly compile and generate an ad-hoc report with precise metrics of your chosen monitors for specified time periods. Similarly, our Global Benchmark Report helps you analyze and benchmark the availability or response time trends of your various website monitors or monitor groups from multiple global locations during a specified period. To enhance the overall usability and handling of these reports, we have made some modifications to the user access permissions. You can find more details below:

User Roles Permissions Functions
Super Admin Read and Write
  • Create, Update and Delete reports created by the user.
  • View, Update and Delete reports created by other users in the account.
Admin Read and Write
  • Create, Update and Delete reports created by the user.
  • View, Update and Delete reports created by other users in the account.
Operator Read and Write
  • Create, Update and Delete reports created by the operator himself.
  • Operator (All Monitors): In case of reports generated by other users,
    access provided to read reports. Update and Delete permissions are restricted
    for this case.
  • Operator (Selected Monitor Group): In case of reports generated by other users,
    access provided to read reports. However, the report will show data of only 
    those monitors that he has associated to.
Spokesperson Read
  • Cannot Create, Update or Delete these reports.
  • Spokesperson (All Monitors): In case of reports generated by other users,
    access provided to read reports. Update and Delete permissions are restricted
    for this case.
  • Spokesperson (Selected Monitor Group): In case of reports generated by other users,
    access provided to read reports. However, the report will show data of only 
    those monitors for which permission is extended.
Read-only Read
  • Cannot Create, Update or Delete these reports.
  • Read-only (All Monitors): In case of reports generated by other users,
    access provided to read reports. Update and Delete permissions are restricted
    for this case.
  • Read-only (Selected Monitor Group): In case of reports generated by other users,
    access provided to read reports. However, the report will show data of only 
    those monitors for which permission is extended.
Billing Contact No Access
  • No access to these reports
Hosting Provider No Access
  • No access to these reports
