Hi all,
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve service reliability and resilience, there will be a planned data center migration in Japan, beginning with a scheduled switchover of services from the Tokyo data center to the Osaka data center.
What is changing?
Here are the changes you can expect:
- Starting October 24, 2026, the primary data center for Site24x7 Japan services will be permanently switched from Tokyo to Osaka.
- Services will be migrated from Tokyo to Osaka, with the Osaka location serving as the primary data center.
- Moving forward, the Tokyo data center will act as the secondary data center.
When is it changing?
The switchover is scheduled for Oct. 24, 2026, beginning at 10pm and ending Oct. 25, 2026, at 1am JST (October 24, 2026, 1pm to 4pm UTC).
Tokyo will continue to be in a disaster recovery-ready state to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness.
