When a server is shutdown or powered down, and the site24x7 daemon does not close properly it will fail to start because there is a pid file still hanging around.
On boot site24x7 should handle cleaning up any pid files so it can start cleanly.

Hi,
Could you please tell us the agent version in which you are facing this issue?
We had fixed this issue and this would not be occurring in the latest agent versions.
Note: Our latest Linux agent version is 17.7.1
