Enhance your log monitoring with New Data Detection alerts

Greetings!

We’re excited to introduce New Data Detection alerts in AppLogs, our log management tool! This feature sends out timely alerts if it detects new log data that hasn't surfaced within a predetermined window of time.

This feature helps you to:
  • Set custom detection frequencies to control how often logs are scanned for changes.
  • Receive real-time alerts about potential shifts in your log data.
  • Improve visibility into your monitored environments, ensuring critical issues are spotted early.
To make your monitoring experience seamless, we’ve included prebuilt queries to track specific log activities across applications like Apache, IIS, Java, .NET, and more. For instance, you can monitor:
  • New failed URL: Identify new URL failing with 4xx or 5xx status code.
  • Extended response times: Track URLs with unusually high response duration.
  • New exceptions: Detect new exceptions that occurred in your application.

You can configure and manage these alerts easily by navigating to Admin > AppLogs > Alerts. You can update the settings to suit your operational needs and ensure your monitoring aligns with your goals.

Stay informed about changes and ensure critical data never goes unnoticed with New Data Detection alerts! If you have any questions or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team at support@site24x7.com.

Until next time,
Happy logging!
