Hello,
We’re excited to announce a new plugin integration to monitor your Keycloak instances!
Keycloak is a powerful open-source identity and access management solution that helps you add authentication to applications and secure services with minimum effort.
Keycloak monitoring is crucial to ensure secure authentication, maintain server uptime, track memory usage, detect performance issues early, and support seamless access management across applications and services in real time.
What does the plugin monitor?
- Server health and uptime: Track how long your Keycloak server has been running without a restart—helping you assess stability and plan maintenance windows.
- Keycloak version insights: Since Keycloak is an authentication application, it is important to check which version of Keycloak is currently running to stay up to date with upgrades, patches, and compatibility.
- Memory usage statistics:
Total Memory: The total memory allocated to the server
Used Memory: Memory currently in use by Keycloak
Free Memory: Memory still available for use
Free Memory Percentage: The percentage of available memory for easier capacity checks
How does the plugin help?
Here’s how this plugin strengthens your Keycloak monitoring strategy:
- Avoid unexpected crashes: By tracking uptime and memory usage, you can detect unusual behavior before it turns into downtime.
- Plan upgrades smarter: Knowing the current Keycloak version helps teams align with security updates and compatibility needs.
- Keep memory in check: The plugin shows memory availability and trends, enabling proactive adjustments before memory saturation causes issues.
