Enhancement Request: Display Rule Group Mapping in Compliance Dashboard

Hi Team,

We have observed a limitation in the current Compliance Dashboard view.

When a single Compliance Policy contains multiple Rule Groups and each Rule Group contains multiple Rules, there is no visibility into which specific Rule Group a violated or compliant rule belongs to.

Currently, the dashboard only displays the overall Rule Status count for each monitor. However, it is difficult to identify the exact Rule Group and corresponding Rule responsible for the compliance violation.

As an enhancement, it would be helpful to have a hierarchical view such as:

Compliance Policy
├─ Rule Group 1
│ ├─ Rule 1 (Status)
│ ├─ Rule 2 (Status)
├─ Rule Group 2
│ ├─ Rule 3 (Status)
│ ├─ Rule 4 (Status)
└─ Associated Monitor(s)

This would allow administrators to:
- Easily identify the Rule Group associated with each rule.
- Quickly determine the reason for compliance violations.
- Simplify troubleshooting and remediation activities.
- Improve visibility when multiple Rule Groups are configured under a single Compliance Policy.

The attached screenshot highlights the current view where only aggregate rule counts are visible for the associated monitors.

Please let us know if this functionality is already available or consider it as an enhancement request.

Thanks.

Hi Bikash,

Thanks for the detailed feedback.

At present, the Compliance Dashboard does not provide a hierarchical view of Compliance Policies, Rule Groups, and Rules. We’ll consider this as a feature request and evaluate it for a future release.

We’ll update this thread once the feature is available. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to our support team at support@site24x7.com so we can notify you by email when the update is available.

We appreciate your patience and feedback as we work to improve the Compliance Dashboard.

Best,
