Managing cloud resources across multiple services, regions, accounts, and compartments can make it difficult to quickly understand what is being monitored and which resources need attention. Finding a specific resource can also mean navigating through multiple service pages before you can investigate an issue.
Managing cloud resources across multiple services, regions, accounts, and compartments can make it difficult to quickly understand what is being monitored and which resources need attention. Finding a specific resource can also mean navigating through multiple service pages before you can investigate an issue.
The new Cloud Resources dashboard provides a centralized view of your monitored AWS and OCI resources, making it easier to find, organize, and manage resources from one place.
You can leverage the following benefits from the Cloud Resources dashboard:
- Get a quick view of resource health: The dashboard gives you an immediate overview of your monitored resources and their current status. Use the status summary to identify resources that are Up, Down, Critical, or in Trouble, and filter the resource list to focus on resources that require attention.
- Find resources faster: Use search, filters, and grouping options to narrow down the resource list. For AWS, you can organize resources by Monitor Type, Region, Account, and supported AWS management structures such as Control Tower and Delegated Admin. For OCI, you can organize resources by Monitor Type, Region, Compartment, or Tenancy. The OCI Tree View also lets you drill down through the Tenancy > Compartment > Monitor Type hierarchy to locate resources more easily.
- Manage multiple monitors: Select multiple resources and use Bulk Action to perform supported operations simultaneously. This helps reduce repetitive work when managing large monitoring environments.
- Move from overview to investigation: When you identify a resource that needs attention, click its Display Name to open the detailed monitor view. You can also access the parent AWS account or OCI compartment directly from the resource table.
