What are the functions of this am_worker.rb, what it does in the server? Any expert can help?

The am_worker.rb file is part of our APM Insight Ruby agent, which is responsible for collecting and aggregating the performance metrics of the application.
This scripts loads into every process (parent & child) of the web server and it runs in separate thread, so it does not affect the application functionality.

Possible this scripts will trigger to launch other Ruby daemon multiple processes in the server?

Agent script does not launch any daemon or non-daemon processes in the web server. It will only load into already spawned server processes
